Oladunjoye Inaugurates New Executives Of FCT Triathlon Association

President of Nigeria Triathlon Union (NTU), Prince Wale Oladunjoye has inaugurated the new executive of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Triathlon Association.
The inauguration, which was held virtually on Saturday, 13 February, was attended by former president of the NTU, Dr. Lanre Glover, Secretary General of Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), Mr. Banjo Oladapo, Secretary of the NTU, Dr. (Mrs) Gloria Obajimi, some executive members of both Nigeria Triathlon Union and Africa Triathlon Union.
Oladunjoye charged the new executives to take triathlon to the next level at the FCT, adding that the NTU’s vision is to popularise the sport across the nook and crannies of the country.
Oladunjoye said the NTU has representations in all the states in Nigeria with athletes and officials taking part in Union’s events and activities, adding that “more state associations are coming up to upgrade to organize this Olympic Sport properly as desired and register their athletes for licencing by the NTU and World Triathlon to enable them be extended invitations to participate anywhere activities and competitions will be taking place such as Edo, Kogi, Ogun, Kano, Borno, FCT, Gombe, Oyo, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross-River, Abia, Kaduna, Imo Anambra and others.
The new FCT Triathlon Association is chaired by Dr. (Mrs.) Esther Oluwatoyin Aluko, while other members of the executive are Barr. Adekunle Opeifa, Dr. (Mrs.) Owanibe Ameh, Alhaji Saleh, Group Captain Rahinatu Garba, Mrs Shola Oshipitan, DCP Kayode Samuel, Mr. David Aremu and Navy Captain Christiana Fapetu.
Others are Hajia Kwabo, Mr. Nicholas Kwanta, Mr. Innocent Nwankwo, Mr. Sunday Job and Mr. John Emmanuel,
