Olamide’s “The Glory” Debuts On Billboard Top World Albums Chart

Barely two weeks after its release, Olamide’s sixth studio album, “The Glory” has debuted on the Billboard Top World Album Chart.

Olamide, who took to his Instagram account to announce the giant stride, earned himself an impressive number six spot on the globally renowned charts.

“Wow wow lol #6 Album 🌶#PepperDemGang .. been so busy almost miss The Glory on the billboard top 10 world album chart @billboard thank you for the recognition #TheGlory,” Olamide wrote.

Olamide is the 4th Nigerian to appear on the list in recent times.

Earlier, Runtown and Wizkid have appeared on the Billboard Twitter Top Tracks while Tekno make the chart’s Hip-Hop & RnB artists.

“The Glory” album, which was released on 26 December, 2016same day he had his “Olamide Live In Concert” OLIC3 in Lagos, was warmly received by music lovers around the world especially in Nigeria,

 

The 16-track album featured some of the finest heavyweights in the Nigerian music industry including Wande Coal, Burna Boy and Phyno.
