Olofinjana Salutes Madestone Football Academy For Talent Development

Former Super Eagles player, Seyi Olofinjana has expressed his admiration and satisfaction with the level of work put together by the Chairman of Madestone Football Academy, Tobi Olubiyi during his visit to the academy in Ibadan.

Olofinjana stated this when he paid courtesy visit to the academy recently at the training session in Akobo, Oyo State.

The ex international,who enjoyed Premier League spells with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stoke City and Hull City was particularly delighted about the academy’s coaching standards and commended the academy management led by Olubi for the job well done.

He showered praises on the team’s management for the facilities put in place and described Madestone FA as one of the best football academies in Nigeria

“The drills they run here are of exceptional quality.Coach Tobi Olubiyi has clearly structured every exercise to mirror international best practices.These youngsters are learning exactly what they need to succeed at the highest level.”he said.

The ex-midfielder spent some time watching ball-work, SAQ drills and finishing routines, nodding approvingly at every station.

“Starting your football journey this early is a real privilege,” Olofinjana continued. “I didn’t have access to such an environment when I was at the tender age. These kids should cherish every session.”said Olofinjana who encouraged parents and guardians whose children want to play football to register with Madestone Football Academy.

He also took time to commend the parents, acknowledging the sacrifices involved in carrying young players to training ground and admonished them to remain focused and give their children necessary support to succeed in their football careers.

The football administrator however described Olubiyi who doubles as head of coaching crew a talent developer and his passion for the round leather game propel the academy waxing stronger among others.

“I have no doubt this academy is on course for even greater achievements.” said Olofinjana who disclosed that he would give the academy his support when it needed.

With such high-profile backing, Madestone Football Academy appears set to cement its reputation as one of Nigeria’s premier youth development hubs.
