Olori Temitope Ogunwusi Praises Gov. Zulum’s Remarkable Successes In Borno

The wife of Ooni of Ife, Her Regal Majesty, Olori Amb. Dr. Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, had busy schedules during a recent visit to Borno State, northeast Nigeria.

Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi was in Maiduguri to honour the invitation to attend the wedding ceremony of the son of Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori, the Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“This remarkable occasion provided me with an opportunity to visit the historic and resilient city of Maiduguri, Borno State,” the Queen Mother of Africa said.

According to the Queen, the visit to Borno gave her the rare opportunity of paying a courtesy visit to His Excellency, the Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, FNSE, mni.

“This meeting was profoundly impactful as I witnessed firsthand the transformative leadership the Governor has brought to the state. His unwavering love for his people and his resolute commitment to their welfare are reflected in his bold initiatives to address critical challenges, including insurgency and flooding. His visionary leadership, dedication, and tireless efforts to ensure peace, security, and development in Borno State are exemplary,” Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi noted.

The Queen was also honoured to visit Her Excellency, Dr. Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum, the First Lady of Borno State.

“Her Excellency is a woman of exceptional grace and strength, whose tireless advocacy for women, children, and vulnerable populations has significantly impacted the state.

“Her unique approach to addressing social challenges, coupled with her compassionate leadership, truly embodies the essence of empowerment and transformation.

“Her warmth and dedication left a lasting impression on me and further underscored the spirit of resilience that defines Borno State,” she said.

She also met with the only female local government chairperson in Borno State, Hon. Hajiya Inna Galadima, who oversees the affairs in the Jere Local Government Area.

“I must appreciate Hon. Hajiya Inna Galadima. Her humility, care, and warmth left an indelible mark on my visit, making it truly refreshing and memorable.”

She, however, commended Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori for his selfless humanitarian work and his immense contributions to uplifting the lives of countless individuals. His kind heart and dedication to service are an inspiration to all.

“To my Altruistic Alhaji Khalifa, I express my deepest gratitude for being a steadfast pillar of support, not only to me but to the people of Borno State and beyond. Your generosity and dedication to humanity continue to inspire many.

“I am eternally grateful to my Crown, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, for his unwavering belief in me and his vision of fostering unity across Nigeria and Africa. His tireless efforts in building bridges of harmony and peace are unparalleled, and I remain committed to supporting his mission,” the Queen said.

Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, who is the Deputy Convener, Hopesalive Initiative for Africa commended unrelenting dedication and hard work of the Team at HAI, adding that “your contributions are the backbone of our collective vision, and I am deeply appreciative of your commitment to every endeavour.

“As we reflect on the success of this visit, I am reminded of the importance of unity, collaboration, and resilience in our collective pursuit of progress and peace for our nation. May we continue to work together to create a brighter future for all Nigerians.”
