On Oseloka Obaze: It Is Sacrilegious To Kick The Dead!
In 2017 after Oseloka Henry Obaze’s inglorious victory over stronger Aspirants in the PDP following a Peter Obi led heist, Mr. Obaze went on National Television to describe legitimately aggrieved Aspirants as “Sore Losers”.
This singular statement turned the table against his infamous ambition which was largely Peter’s vendetta against Gov. Obiano. Oseloka did not only come a distant third in that election, he lost woefully in his Ochuche Ward in Ogbaru LGA. So, you can understand his frustrations. Of course, they are self inflicted if you asked me. It’s exactly what you get when a supposedly old man decides to inherit the enemies of his younger, control freak godfather.
Again, Oseloka is out with another “careless talk”, this time it is sad that the impressionable Valentine Ozigbo would bear the vicarious liabilities of Oseloka’s verbal diarrhoea. Oseloka says “Soludo betrayed ndi Anambra” for supporting his party, APGA to a resounding victory in 2017. Invariably the word “betrayal” may have taken up a new meaning is Oseloka’s lexicon.
It is a taboo in Igbo culture to kick the dead. The honourable thing to do is bury it to allow the living some breath of fresh air. I think this summarises my thinking of a politically spent Oseloka. If one could talk about betrayal, it should be Oseloka and Peter fighting hard to sink the same ship that sailed them to harbour.
To their greater chagrin, APGA will win again, and I will say to them, “OHO! I told you”.
