Ondo Poll: Lagos Police Deployed 1,300 Officers

As the security are beef up in Ondo State over the governorship election coming up on Saturday, 26 November, the Lagos State Police Command have deployed about 1,300 officers for the electioneering exercise.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the officers drawn from various commands are being taken to Ondo ahead of the election to provide security.
The officers were taken there with both police vehicles and commercial buses.

Police source said the deployment was part of arrangement by the Inspector General of Police to beef up security for free and fair election.
On Monday, our correspondent sighted some of the officers was busy boarding the vehicles en route to Ondo State.
INEC have already promised that there will be hitch-free election as they will ensure an adequate security the state during the election.
When our correspondent contacted the Lagos PPRO, her aide said she was busy to respond as she was part of those saddled with the adequate arrangement to ensure smooth journey for the officers.
