Orashi National Congress Honours Lt. Col. DD Omale During Familiarization Visit

The Orashi National Congress (ONC), led by its President General, Comrade Emeni Ibe, has paid a historic familiarization visit to the Commander of the Joint Task Force (JTF) Sub-Sector 1, Ahoada Area, Lt. Col. DD Omale, at his office in Ahoada, Rivers State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the visit aimed to strengthen ties, appreciate the achievements of the Commander, and present a Certificate of Excellence for his exemplary service.
In his address, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe, representing the Orashi region’s communities—Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas—commended Lt. Col. Omale for his unwavering dedication to maintaining peace and security in the region.
“Your leadership has brought significant progress to the Orashi region. After critical assessment, we found it imperative to honour you with this Certificate of Excellence as one of the most outstanding military officers posted to our region,” Ibe stated.
The ONC leader further highlighted the organization’s commitment to combating pipeline vandalism, illegal refineries, cultism, and fostering peace and security in collaboration with traditional rulers and security agencies. He called on Lt. Col. Omale to partner with the Congress to achieve these goals, underscoring the importance of the military’s support in securing the region’s socio-economic stability.
Comrade Ibe concluded with a heartfelt prayer, expressing the region’s gratitude and pledging continued cooperation with the military in building a safer Orashi region.
In his response, Lt. Col. DD Omale expressed profound gratitude to the Orashi National Congress for the recognition and pledged continued commitment to ensuring the safety and stability of the region.
“It is an honour to serve the Orashi region and Nigeria at large. I am deeply touched by this Certificate of Excellence, which reaffirms my commitment to the vision of the Nigerian Army. The fight against criminal activities such as pipeline vandalism and illegal refineries is a shared responsibility, and I commend your efforts as a community-driven organization in fostering peace and development,” Omale said.
He assured the ONC of his support, emphasizing the need for collaboration between the military, traditional institutions, and socio-cultural organizations.
“Together, we can create a secure environment for the growth and prosperity of the Orashi region,” he added.
The visit ended on a high note with the presentation of the Certificate of Excellence, a testament to Lt. Col. Omale’s impactful tenure in the region, and a renewed commitment to working together for a brighter future for the Orashi people.
