Orashi National Congress Pays Courtesy Visit To Egi DPO, CSP Okumrinmeta Ekokinmoh

Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has paid a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer of the Egi Division in Rivers State, CSP Okumrinmeta Ekokinmoh.
The visit, which took place on Tuesday 11th June, 2024, was led by the group President General, Snr. Comrade Emeni.
Speaking on behalf of the ONC, Comrade Emeni Ibe said, “On behalf of the good people of Orashi Region, we came to register our deepest appreciation for the success recorded in the Division since your assumption of office”.

“We have seen postings of Divisional Police Officers, never can anyone be compared to you. Our people said that we should make a strong statement that you are the most outstanding and we owe no one apology to say so. In fact, you are the very best. We extend our appreciation to the Commissioner of Police, CP Tunji Disu and IGP Kayode Egbetokun for the support given to your Division and for posting you to our area.”
“We lack words to express the profound gratitude of our people but all we can say is a “Big Thank You” and you can rest assured of our continued cooperation.
We use the opportunity afforded by this visit to appeal that you use your good office to support our forthcoming Orashi Peace, Unity Security Summit 2024, where you are expected as one of our Guests of Honour alongside other top security officers.”
“We thank you once again for the good work you are doing. We equally thank you for the audience granted us. Being an Ijaw man and conversant with our terrain, we know that the very best in terms of security of lives and property is guaranteed under your watch as witnessed in the reduction of militancy in the area since you became the DPO.”
In his remarks, CSP Okumrinmeta Ekokinmoh lauded the group for having aims and objectives which align with the mandate of the Police.

“My doors are open to talks, collaborations and initiatives geared towards the safety of lives and property in the area” CSP Ekokinmoh stated.
He assured the ONC of his support towards their upcoming Peace, Unity and Security Summit and charged the group to continue preaching about the peace and development of the region region.
