Orijin Wraps Five-City Orijinal Nite Tour, Setting Stage For Explosive Festive Finale

Posted on October 7, 2025

Orijin, Nigeria’s proudly culture-forward beverage brand, has concluded its nationwide Orijinal Nite Tour — a five-city cultural showcase designed to celebrate heritage, foster community connection, and blend tradition with modern nightlife. The tour reaffirmed Orijin’s role as a brand deeply rooted in culture while resonating with today’s vibrant, youthful audiences.
From Ibadan to Port Harcourt, Owerri, Abuja, and Lagos, Orijinal Nite transformed nightlife into a cultural playground. Guests were welcomed with energetic traditional dancers and drumming, enjoyed herb-infused Orijin cocktails, and relived nostalgic moments through classic games such as Ayo, Ludo, and Draft. Each city delivered electrifying performances from top DJs, live acts from local stars, and nonstop entertainment from engaging MCs who kept the energy alive.
One unifying highlight across the five cities was the raffle draw, where loyal fans won exciting prizes, including smart televisions, standing fans, and household essentials. In Owerri, first-time Orijin drinker Blessing was overwhelmed after winning a 50-inch TV, saying:
“I am very grateful to Orijin. This is actually my first time tasting it, and I never imagined I’d be going home with something this big. Thank you, Orijin, for making this night unforgettable for me.”
In Lagos, raffle winner Olanrewaju Oladeji echoed that excitement after winning a smart TV:
“This prize exceeded my expectations and made me even prouder to be part of the Orijinal experience.”
Guests in Ibadan, Abuja, and Port Harcourt also celebrated the fusion of heritage and modern vibes. Adedayo in Ibadan noted the thrill of “events that blend cultural roots with Gen Z style,” while Ojo Muhsin in Abuja shared that attending his first Orijin event with friends turned him into a fan of both the drink and the brand.
Speaking on the success of the tour, Dorcas Mashingil, Senior Brand Manager, Orijin™, said:
“Orijinal Nite is more than an event — it is a cultural movement. With every stop across Nigeria, we showed how Orijin connects people to their roots while giving them unforgettable modern experiences. We are proud to celebrate culture in a way that is bold, original, and truly Nigerian.”
Uchechukwu Onwudiwe, Head of Marketing, Mainstream Spirits and RTS, Guinness Nigeria, added:
“Orijin has always been about authenticity and community. Through Orijinal Nite, we created a platform that not only entertains but also reinforces pride in our heritage. The response from consumers nationwide has been incredible, and this is only the beginning. Wherever Orijinal Nite lands, culture ignites.”
By bringing together bold flavours, rich cultural expression, and unforgettable moments the Orijinal Nite Tour has established itself as one of Nigeria’s most unique and exciting cultural nightlife experiences.
It is a true celebration of heritage, connection, and community in every city it visits, and from the month of October all the way through to December, many more events and unforgettable experiences are set to light up the night.
With the festive season now in sight, Orijin is ready to take it up a notch; by creating and collaborating with culturally rooted festivals, the brand aims to continue creating lasting memories and igniting culture, bringing us closer to our roots, our history, and our power.
