Oshorun Cup: Tops FC Coach Prefers To Meet Dosu Academy In Final

Chief coach of Tops Football Club, Gbenga Ajayi says he would be happy if his team meet Dosu Joseph Football Academy in the final of Oshorun Saheed Paseda Football Competition.

Ajayi declared this after his team defeated 89 Champions 4-3 on penalties following 2-2 at the regulation time on Monday.

With this victory, Tops FC have qualified for the quarter final stage.Dosu Joseph Acadmey also defeated Unique FC 5-2 to reach the quarter final stage.

Ajayi while speaking with Journalists boasted that his team are in good shape and ready to meet any team that come their way in the quarter final

He explained that their clash with Dosu Joseph Football Academy in this competition would be a tough one but preferred to meet them the in the final.

“Our victory against 89 Champions showed that we are in this tournament for business.We are not afraid of any team and I wish to meet Dosu boys in the final so that the final would be exciting, interesting and entertaining but if we eventually meet them in the quarter or semi finals, it would be a difficult match for them because my boys are in the best form of their lives,”he said.

Ajayi said it would be a disappointment if his team fail to win the cup and warned his next opponents in the quarter final to prepare for war.

Meanwhile AD Red Bull early this morning defeated Red Star 12-11 on penalties after one goal apiece at the regulation time.

Five teams have qualifed for the quarter final stage.The teams are Flexy FC, Tops FC, Fackson Tofido,Dosu Joseph Academy and AD Red Bull FC.
