Otti Mandate Circle Hails Ukwa La Ngwa 2027 Endorsement, N100m Donation

A frontline support group championing the 2027 re-election of the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, known as the Otti Mandate Circle (OMC), has described the governor’s second-term bid as a divinely ordained and heavenly sealed project.
The group commended the people of Ukwa La Ngwa and the leadership of the Aba Union for their overwhelming endorsement of Governor Otti ahead of the 2027 general election, as well as their donation of One Hundred Million Naira (₦100,000,000) towards the purchase of the governor’s nomination and expression of interest forms.
OMC also congratulated the Ukwa La Ngwa Steering Committee, led by the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa, and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, PhD, for successfully organising what it described as an unprecedented political gathering in the history of Ukwa La Ngwa.
In a statement jointly signed by Chief Eric Achi Egwuibe, PhD, and Hon. Ebere Uzoukwa, PhD, Special Adviser on Budget and Planning and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Affairs respectively and made available to journalists shortly after the historic grand civic reception held in honour of the governor at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, on Friday, January 30, 2026, the group described the endorsement as timely, well-deserved, and reflective of popular appreciation for visionary and transformative leadership.
The statement noted that the event attracted a massive and unprecedented turnout of the people of Ukwa La Ngwa, underscoring the deep-rooted confidence of the region in Governor Otti’s leadership.
“The Otti Mandate Circle (OMC) heartily congratulates the good people of Ukwa La Ngwa and the leadership of Aba Union under Barr. Theo Nkire for staging a historic civic reception in honour of our principal and the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, a leader whose commitment to good governance, accountability, and people-oriented development has restored hope and confidence in governance across Abia State.
“The re-election of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, a transformational, innovative leader with a proven Midas touch is a divine and heavenly sealed project that will be delivered on earth to the glory of God and for the sustainability of the ongoing reforms and transformation in Abia State.
“The 2027 endorsement of Governor Otti and the donation of One Hundred Million Naira towards the purchase of his nomination and expression of interest forms stand as eloquent testimonies and unmistakable indications that the people of Ukwa La Ngwa genuinely appreciate the visible transformation of their region and the entire state under the Otti administration,” the group stated.
Decrying what it described as an inglorious era marked by backwardness, neglect, cluelessness, and mediocrity, OMC criticised past administrations for squandering opportunities to develop Abia State and uplift its people.
“OMC is immensely proud of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for decisively changing the narrative through exceptional performance in less than three years in office. There is no gainsaying the fact that, through his vision for a New Abia, competence, capacity, and unwavering commitment, Governor Otti has brought to an end an era of stagnation and restored Abia State to the path of purposeful governance, socio-economic growth, and sustainable prosperity,” the group declared.
While commending the people of Abia State for their sustained support of the Otti administration, OMC also criticised what it described as the denial and conspiratorial posture of some opposition elements who have refused to acknowledge the far-reaching reforms and visible transformation currently underway in a state that was once a subject of ridicule prior to 2023.
The Otti Mandate Circle (OMC), whose motto is “One Good Turn Deserves Another,” further reaffirmed its unflinching loyalty to Governor Otti and his administration, pledging to work closely with Abia Arise and other stakeholders to mobilise total grassroots support for the governor’s 2027 re-election and the success of Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
