The All Progressives Congress Kwara State Chapter has described as laughable the recent outcry of Kwara PDP on the protection of Kwara traditional institution and calling of Kwara Northerners to demand dividends of democracy from the Governor.
The Kwara APC, in their statement released through the State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro, further compared the PDP statement with that of a devil preaching gospel.
The APC Publicity Secretary said the same Kwara PDP that gave the good people of Kwara State a regrettable 16 years misrule, that cuts across all levels of indecent practices, ranging from political enslavement by their godfather, to total disregard and disrespect of our traditional institution, along with corrupt practices and under development of Kwara State, with Kwara North being the most vulnerable are now shedding what we can best described as a crocodile tears in disguised of playing opposition role.
The Kwara APC warned the opposition party, PDP, to stop playing on the intelligence of the good people of Kwara North and instead channel their energy towards making constructive criticism while playing their opposition role, as the absolute majority of Kwarans can never be deceived by their political antics.
Alhaji Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro said that the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has no involvement in the Town Hall meeting organised by the people of Kwara North, as their meeting is bent towards unifying the region, while also expressing gratitude on the high level of development the Northern part of the state has gotten since the inception of  AbdulRazaq’s headed APC Administration in 2019.
He added that the recent event in Kwara North that the PDP was trying to twist, remain a testimony to the independency of every region and group in Kwara of today, unlike in the past where every gathering must be authorised by the dictatorship of their godfather.
