This Saturday December 7, for close to 10 hours, the megacity of Lagos will be lit as concert goers will experience the biggest metropolitan music festival in Nigeria —the Livespot X Festival with Cardi B— powered by Pepsi Cola.

The International superstar and Grammy award-winning rapper, Cardi B, will be performing today at the Livespot X Festival holding at Eko Atlantic Energy City, Victoria Island Lagos, alongside some of Africa’s biggest acts including Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Teni, Niniola and Wande Coal.

Livespot X Festival is a blend of the best music performances, festival quality sound, immersive experiences, and much more, giving fun a new meaning. The Livespot X Festival is exceptionally different from other festivals because of its vibrant, exciting and ever-evolving nature that promises something new at every turn and in every edition.

Just last month, the self-proclaimed Queen of the Bronx confirmed that she will be visiting Africa for the first time this December.

And the Hip-hop It girl celebrated her first-ever trip to the continent of Africa on Thursday by twerking up a storm while still aboard the private jet.

The 27-year-old Grammy winner was barefoot and make-up free as she shook her substantial derrière to her own music while clad in a sleeveless grey midi-dress.

Upon landing in Nigeria’s largest city Lagos, Cardi —born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar— and her entourage were filmed on the tarmac by her generous host, digital agency, Livespot Nation owned by dynamic couple, Deola and Darey Art-Alade.

“Man, we in motherf***in Nigeria!” the Bronx-born Latina —who boasts almost 75 million followers— said of her new surroundings. “No lie, this s*** look like the Dominican Republic. This look like DR straight up, like Santiago.”

At the same time, Cardi B has also be using her social media platform to say say great things about Nigeria.

She has been screaming “You guys should come to Nigeria yall”

Cardi B might have, earlier in the week, gone through some drama with her husband of two years, Migos rapper Offset, accused of cheating on her —he was accused of sliding into the DMs of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s girlfriend, Jade.

But the 27-year old social media sensation is not letting that hold her down as she is living her best life in Lagos.

In Lagos for the first time, Cardi had the time of her life as she took to her insta-story to record the entire experience.

After a full day of media rounds and fan meet ups, Cardi took to the streets of Lagos taking lots of photos and videos.

On Friday night, the rapper also visited Silver Foxx, a popular Lagos strip joint with Nigerian-American artiste, Jidenna, in tow, perhaps to support her “colleagues”.

It will be recalled that before she hit it big, the Hustlers actress famously paid her bills for three and a half years stripping in gentlemen’s clubs in her native New York.

Cardi B, Pepsi brand ambassador, after headlining the LiveSpot X Festival’s stops in Lagos tonight, will move to Ghana capital Accra on Sunday.
