Peter’s Continuous Downplay On His Manifesto Shows A Man Without A Plan Or Clear Intent

Posted on October 25, 2022

For months now, since INEC lifted their ban on political campaigns, various political parties seeking the support and votes of Nigerians have presented their policy documents to their potential employers, which are the millions of Nigeria’s electorates, except Mr. Peter Obi.

The many times he has been faced with questions regarding his manifesto, he simply says it’s not important and wants Nigerians to still consider him a presidential candidate. Such an attitude by Peter Obi is akin to a job seeker going to the Human Resource Department where he is expected to present his certifications and defend with reference his ideas and why he is qualified for the job, only to tell that ideas and experience are not important.

Obviously, Peter Obi doesn’t know what to put together in his manifesto given that he is not intellectually organized; he is rather looking for machineries to hire to bandy a white paper for him to present to Nigerians, but Obi is rather scared of his shadows as he will fail fact checking and in defense of whatever machineries would handover to him, so he prefers to lie his way around.

For Peter Obi, he believes that manifestos are not important in a democracy. This is enough to show the character and knowledge of the quasi-philosophy graduate and professional trader.

A manifesto shows the government’s plan; it tells discerning electorates what to expect to help form their choice of leaders; but because Peter is without any plan or clear-cut agenda for Nigeria, he hasn’t been able to put together words to communicate any plan.

He keeps treating the manifesto question whenever it’s thrown up as a plaque. He has nothing to write and present to his potential employers for possible evaluation, but instead emotional blackmail and tales of economic prosperity without policies.
