Mr Abiodun Alabi, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Thursday played host to Aaron Akerejola-led Caretaker Executive Committee of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter in his office in Ikeja.

It was an impromptu visit, but the CP was at home with his guests who came to rub minds with him and at the end of the visit gave him different kinds of Lagos SWAN customised gifts.

An elated CP Alabi, who could not hide his excitement with the gifts showered on him by the sports journalists, thanked his guests for the show of love with a promise that the Lagos State Police Command would be supporting the association in it’s future program, adding that he recognized the contribution of sports and the works of sportswriters in the Force’s community policing crusade.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, Superintendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, joined the CP to receive the Lagos SWAN Caretaker Executive Committee members.

On the entourage of Lagos SWAN Caretaker Committee were the Chairman, Akerejola, indefatigable Secretary,  Olatutu Oladunni and the Advisor, Wole Alakija
