The 6th edition of the National Youth Games has come and gone, but the memory of the school sports tournament would linger on for a very long time to come in the life of the youthful athletes of Team Lagos. The team defied all odds to take back the record of the state in previous games in the face of unsportsmanly activities of some of the states in the competition.

Team Lagos, which paraded mostly young athletes, pulled their weight to pick the second position after winning a total number of 72 medals (19 gold, 25 silver and 28 bronze medals).

In this photo news, P.M. EXPRESS is documenting history with the moments of joy as experienced by some of the medal winners for Team Lagos at the tournament hosted by the University of Ilorin, Kwara State in this photo collection made available courtesy of the Public Affairs Unit (PAU) of the Lagos State Sports Commission.
