A 39-year old man, Charles Adam, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police for impersonating as a military officer.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that this was disclosed by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oyeyemi, on behalf of Ogun State Commissioner of Police.
He said that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday 24th October, 2018, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway while he was dressed in full military camouflage uniform.

His action aroused the suspicion of the Police patrol team who saw it as a strange occurrence. The Policemen subsequently gave him a hot chase and he was apprehended.
He was taken to the DPO Redeemed Division, CSP Olaiya Martins, who thoroughly interrogated him consequent upon which he confessed being a fake military officer. He further confessed using the uniform to escort vehicles and that he performed other illegal military duties.
The DPO quickly ordered for a search warrant to be executed in his house and the following items were recovered from him: two green military trousers, one green belt, one green cardigan, one green military beret, one military face-cap, one green mask, one military bout, one military haversack. The police also discovered five different identity cards with his passport photograph and some military related documents.
