Police Uncover Shop At Oyingbo Market Where Human Parts Are Sold As Goods

Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have uncovered a place at Oyingbo Market in Lagos State, where human parts are sold as goods following the arrest of two suspects in possession of human parts. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the men of RSS arrested the suspects,  Isah Amohullahi,30 and Abubakar Isah 32, who were in possession of human parts during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge.
The suspects, who were found with human tongues, got arrested in a taxi on 15th October, 2024, and detained for interrogation over their alleged conduct.
During interrogation, the two suspects mentioned a trader at Oyingbo Market, Gbolahan Temidayo, who sold the part to them before they were arrested on the way.
Thus, the Police took them to the market where Gbolahan Temidayo was as well arrested and detained for interrogation over his alleged involvement.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed that the suspects are in Police custody undergoing interrogation over their alleged conduct.
He stated that the suspects were arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on 15th October, 2024, during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge.
“The suspects, Isah Amohullahi ‘m’ aged 30 and Abubakar Isah ‘m’ aged 32 were in possession of human tongues — arrested in a taxi on October 15, 2024 during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge,” he said.
“Further investigations led the operatives to the arrest of another suspect from whom the parts were bought, Gbolahan Temidayo ‘m’, in Oyingbo Market, Lagos.”
The PPRO stated that investigations are ongoing, and upon completion, the suspects will be arraigned before the Court for prosecution.
