President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda To Drive Economic Growth Through Local Innovation – NBTI DG

The Director General/CEO of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR’s unwavering commitment to leveraging indigenous inventions and innovations to transform Nigeria’s economy and create job opportunities for its citizens.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Governing Council of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, led by its Chairman, Engr. Bello Gachi Issa, Dr. Raji emphasized that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is focused on harnessing local technologies to address critical national challenges and reduce capital flight.

He highlighted the President’s directive to maximize local ingenuity in driving economic growth, improving GDP, and enhancing the quality of life for Nigerians. In line with this vision, NBTI is committed to collaborating with institutions like FUPRE to commercialize research outputs and indigenous technologies, particularly in petroleum refining and energy solutions.

Engr. Issa commended NBTI’s contributions to industrial development, stating that FUPRE has successfully developed innovative solutions that can permanently resolve Nigeria’s refining challenges. He expressed confidence that partnering with NBTI will facilitate the adoption and commercialization of these groundbreaking technologies.

The FUPRE Chairman also praised President Tinubu for appointing Dr. Raji as NBTI’s Director General, describing it as a perfect choice for advancing Nigeria’s technology incubation ecosystem.

This collaboration aligns with President Tinubu’s vision of economic revitalization through innovation, job creation, and self-sufficiency, further cementing his administration’s commitment to empowering Nigerian entrepreneurs and industrialists.
