Veteran Nollywood actor, film producer, and respected cultural ambassador, Prince Jide Kosoko, has extended his warm congratulations to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as she celebrates her 66th birthday.

In an emotional tribute made on behalf of himself, his family, and the broader creative industry, Prince Kosoko commended the First Lady for her lifelong dedication to public service, her compassionate heart for the less privileged, and her continuous commitment to the growth of Nigeria’s entertainment and creative economy.

Reflecting on her years of impactful service—from her time as the First Lady of Lagos State (1999–2007) to her three terms representing Lagos Central in the Senate, and now as the nation’s First Lady—Prince Kosoko described Senator Oluremi Tinubu as a mother figure whose kindness has transformed millions of lives across the country.

“Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is a beacon of hope and a shining example of compassionate leadership,” Prince Kosoko stated. “Over the decades, we have watched her consistently open her heart and hands to those who need support the most—our widows, underprivileged women, young girls, and vulnerable children. Through her visionary programs, including the New Era Foundation and today’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), she has given voice to the voiceless and restored dignity to countless Nigerian families.”

Prince Kosoko particularly highlighted her widespread humanitarian works through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which continues to deliver economic empowerment, food security, healthcare, and educational opportunities to all six geopolitical zones.

From distributing business tools and grants to thousands of female entrepreneurs to launching specialized social welfare projects for widows, schoolgirls, and the elderly, her outreach has left an indelible footprint nationwide.

The veteran actor also expressed profound gratitude to the First Lady for her enduring love and advocacy for the creative economy sector.

He emphasized her long-standing relationship with Nollywood and the broader arts community, noting her active engagement with actors, musicians, and cultural practitioners over the years.

“We in the entertainment industry hold Her Excellency in very high esteem,” Kosoko noted. “Long before now, she has recognized the power of storytelling, culture, and the creative arts as vital drivers of national identity and economic growth. Her open-door policy, encouragement, and genuine interest in the welfare of creative practitioners have earned her a permanent place of love in our industry.”

Closing his celebratory message, Prince Kosoko offered prayers for the First Lady and her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, asking God to grant them divine strength, health, and wisdom as they steer the country toward sustainable development and economic prosperity.

“On this auspicious occasion of her 66th birthday, I join millions of Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to pray that Almighty God continues to preserve and protect Her Excellency,” Kosoko prayed.

“May God grant her abundant health, divine peace, and renewed vigor. We pray that God’s grace remains upon her and our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as they faithfully lead our great nation toward full economic recovery, peace, and unparalleled growth. Happy Birthday, Mother of the Nation!”
