Prof. Obiora Okonkwo Meets APC State Working Committee With Zonal Leaders, Advocates For Unity & Purposeful Leadership To Tackle Insecurity In Anambra

In a move reflecting his commitment to fostering socio-economic development, Professor Obiora Okonkwo, OFR (Dikeora), Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines, yesterday, 7th January, 2025, engaged with the All Progressives Congress Party (APC) State Working Committee and zonal leaders in Anambra State. 
The meeting, attended by party officials, and numerous other stakeholders, political and business associates of Prof. Okonkwo, provided an opportunity for interaction and strategic engagement with stakeholders on fostering good governance and addressing the crisis of insecurity in Anambra State.
Speaking during the visit, Prof. Okonkwo emphasized the crucial role of collaboration among political, business, and community leaders in achieving sustainable development. He underscored the importance of unity, innovation, and purposeful leadership in unlocking Anambra’s full potential.
Chief Ejidike, in his welcome address, praised Prof. Okonkwo’s visit as a reflection of his exceptional leadership, commitment to national unity, and his visionary drive for a prosperous Anambra State. He highlighted Prof. Okonkwo’s remarkable contributions to the aviation industry and other sectors, describing him as a role model whose influence on the nation’s development serves as an inspiration to many.
Prof. Okonkwo continued his visit with a tour of the APC Secretariat. While addressing the party leaders, he commended their commitment to the ideals of national unity and expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies focused on promoting economic growth, national unity and political stability.
The climax of the visit was the donation by Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, OFR, which included split-unit air conditioners for all offices in the party secretariat, smart televisions, an industrial generator, and other office equipment, along with twenty million naira (₦20,000,000) to support the party’s grassroots engagement in the state.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with renewed commitment among the APC leadership to support policies that align with the shared vision for a progressive and prosperous state. Prof. Okonkwo’s visit further solidified his reputation as a visionary leader and a bridge-builder dedicated to the well-being of the people.
