Rally: APC Ikeja LGA & BOS ICG Campaign For Sanwo-Olu & Other APC Candidates

In a bid to ensure that total victory is attained in the forthcoming general election, the APC Ikeja LGA Chapter on Friday February 1, 2019, staged a mega rally which took place at Olowu Junction by Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos.

The rally started with the door-to-door campaign in which the party executives led by Alhaji Dally Adeokun alongside party faithful and supporters moved around different locations within Ikeja and environs; going from house to house to campaign on behalf of the APC for the forthcoming general elections.

The door-to-door campaign was not without the Mayor of Ikeja Land, Engr. Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun, who alongside the legislative members of the Council joined other party faithful in the house-to-house and door-to-door campaign activities. The Ikeja Council boss gave notable reasons to the electorate why they should come out massively to vote for the governing party for the continuation good governance and delivery of the dividends of democracy to the citizens.

The party campaign train finally moved to the ground of the rally at the Olowu Junction, where members and supporters were already seated and waiting in their large numbers for the commencement of the campaign.

The campaign process was kick-started by the Secretary to The Local Government, Hon. Akeem Dauda, who introduced the Executive members present as well other party dignitaries. The candidate representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers, Hon James Abiodun Faleke and Hon. Ademola Richard Kasunmu, candidate representing Ikeja constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly were also introduced to party members.

Both candidates in their speech urged all the supporters to vote for the APC candidates on the day of election.

The APC South-West Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson (Yeye Sewa), who was also present, in her speech urged all the party members and supporters to endeavour to go out to vote for all the party on the day of the election in order to ensure total victory is secured for all APC candidates and for President Muhammadu Buhari.

Other dignitaries present were: Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Olumuyiwa Oloro and that of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Babatunde Oke. Both Chairmen came to support the host, Engr Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government.

The Ikeja APC LG Chairman, Alhaji Dally Adeokun, also opined that votes must be delivered for the party at State and Federal Level across all the polling units in Ikeja LGA. He further noted that it is the only way total victory can be achieved. He however expressed hope and optimism in all the supporters of the party that they would surely do the needful for the party during the election.
