A Member of the House of Representatives from Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole says the present Government of Mr. Biodun Oyebanji and the entire Ekiti people will not continue to fold their arms and be watching the continued killings of innocent souls under any disguise in the state.

The recent killings in Ekiti especially Ado Ekiti, the State Capital in the last month is unacceptable, barbaric and cruel.

Hon. Kolawole gave the observation in a release made available to newsmen over the recent ugly development in the State.

The Politician described such killings in recent times as uncouth, heinous, uncalled for and disheartening, hence the need for all security Agencies to work together as a team to form a formidable body to put an end to such an ugly development in the state. “There is the need for urgent holistic measures to arrest the situation before it could lead to unexpected uproar”.

Therefore, it is high time the security Agencies in the state came together to work out a more professional modality for putting an immediate halt to the latest uncivilised killings across the state, so the people have confidence in them.

The murder of some promising and versatile young men and women in recent times in Ekiti state was unfortunate, appalling and untoward, therefore, the police and other relevant security agencies must work together at bringing the Culprits to book to serve as a deterrent to others.

The APC Chieftain commiserated with the immediate family of the Victims of such a dastardly act, the Ekiti people, government and pray God to console everyone over the loss.

Hon. Kolawole who represents Moba, Ido/Osi and Ilejemeje LGAs of Ekiti State at the National Assembly urged the people of the state to always be their brothers’ Keepers and at the same time to be more security conscious especially during the latest developments and beyond.

He also advised the Residents to always assist the Government and security Agents with useful and timely information whenever they notice unusual Visitors or movement around their environment.
