Rooboy Crowned First ‘Most Influential Housemate’ As Danboskid And Ibifubara Exit BBNaija 10

Posted on August 11, 2025

A lot has happened in the Big Brother Naija house this past week. After enjoying a free pass with no eliminations in Week 1, Biggie decided it was time to shake things up, and not one but two housemates got evicted on Sunday.

Daniel Olatunji, aka Danboskid, was the first to go. On stage with Ebuka, he admitted he still couldn’t believe it. He also clarified his earlier comment about women, stating that he only approaches exceptional women, and yes, he believes Zita is incredibly beautiful. Outside the house, he’s setting his sights on Nollywood and maybe exploring the brewing connection with Zita.

Next up was 28-year-old Ibifubara, the resident therapist, who confessed she felt a bit lonely during the week thanks to friendship shifts. She admitted she was drawn to Otega and Bright Morgan but decided not to act on it; “it wasn’t time.” Now that she’s out, she’s planning to start a podcast and grow a hair brand.

The road to eviction wasn’t your usual diary room nominations. Biggie switched things up with a red envelope hunt, each envelope carrying either immunity or better luck next time. No one found the immunity card, so everyone was up for possible eviction except Victory (Head of House) and KayinKunmi, who Victory saved.

But the night wasn’t all bad news. Rooboy was crowned Most Influential Housemate, Biggie’s new weekly title for the housemate who makes the most impact. The title comes with its own perks, and the criteria will keep changing, so the competition is only getting hotter.

And as if eviction night wasn’t enough drama, the housemates still had to face the Head of House Challenge. Tracy crushed it in record time, snagging the Interim Head of House title and picking Kuture as her houseguest. But with the HOH Challenger showdown coming up later today, the big question is, can she hold on to that crown?

Don’t miss it. Catch the HOH Challenger live on Monday between 12 pm and 2 pm, and stick around for the nominations between 8 pm and 9 pm on the Big Brother channel, GOtv channel 49, and DStv channel 198.
