Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Chairman of Governance Advisory (GAC), Prince Tajudeen Olusi, on his installation as the Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti.

The Governor said the chieftaincy title bestowed on Prince Olusi by Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, is well-deserving, considering his remarkable contribution to Yorubaland as an elder statesman, politician and respected leader.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, the Governor said the former federal lawmaker being honoured with a chieftaincy title in his maternal homeland of Ado Ekiti is commendable.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said Prince Olusi has shown leadership qualities and demonstrated capacity as a man that is reliable and worthy of emulation.

He said: “On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Lagos State, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our father, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, and celebrate him on his well-deserved installation as the Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti that recognises his remarkable contributions to the society.

“The installation of Prince Olusi as Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti is a testament to his enduring commitment to service, leadership, community development, and promotion of Yoruba culture and tradition.

“Prince Olusi’s achievements have inspired thousands of people, especially those in political and public office, to believe in their capacity to lead and make a difference. He is a man of integrity.

“Once again, I congratulate Prince Tajudeen Olusi. I pray he will continue to enjoy God’s grace, good health, strength, and wisdom as he inspires and serves humanity and his community.”
