Hussaini Arafat Usman, four goals hero against Cameroon in today’s quarter final clash.

The unstoppable football prodigies of John Utaka Foundation Football team demolished Cameroon with 7 unreplied goals as the team qualified with goals feast to the semi final of the ongoing SATUC World Cup 5 – Aside Under 16 tournament in Sofia , Bulgaria.

It was a very thrilling quarter final clash between the two bitter rivals from the African continent ,but it was Nigerian kids that stole the show with their sublime football artistry to the delight of football fans at the arena in Sofia.

Just as Abidemi Salau Mohammed was in good form scoring three goals against Syria in the 7-1 demolition of the team from the middle east , Hussaini Arafat Usman took a step further by scoring four goals in the whitewashing of Cameroon as the young Nigerians are now considered hot favourites to win the tournament.

However , the team must scale the hurdle against Bulgaria, the host of the tournament when they clash in the semi final. Bulgaria is also a high scoring side having defeated Bosnia 5-2 earlier in the day to await the winner between Nigeria and Cameroon.

In an exclusive chat with PM Express , Chata Usman Abubakar, who doubles as a coordinator and one of the coaches of John Utaka Foundation Football team said that the Nigerian community in Bulgaria is very happy with the performance of the team and the team will continue to improve to make sure that Bulgaria is beaten at the semi- finals stage, though it will be a difficult game.

” We are happy with the performance of the team. To beat Cameroonn7-0 in any tournament is not fluke and this defeat brought back  the sweet memories of what happened at the 2004 Africa Nations Cup when John Utaka scored the winning goal against Cameroon in a quarter final explosion that ended 2-1″. Chata said.

” The Ambassador of Nigeria to Bulgaria and the entire Nigerian community in Sofia are very happy with the performance of the team and everyone here is optimistic that 5 Aside team of John Utaka Foundation Football team can defeat Bulgaria at the semi final , I know it is going to be a difficult game, but winning is possible”, he said.
