The members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State, have expressed their excitement about the defection of Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi from Labour Party to the ruling party.

According to Mr. Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, “We are pleased to announce that the Senator representing the Owerri Zone at the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, has formally defected from the opposition Labour Party (LP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday, at the floor of the National Assembly”.

“This development means that Imo State is now fully represented by the APC in the Senate, with all three senatorial seats held by our great party.”

“We extend our gratitude and accolades to the instrumental figure behind this achievement, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, the #PeoplesGovernor of Imo State.”

“His tireless efforts as the “Evangelist of the APC’s gospel” in the south and his leadership as the “Governor General of the southeast” have yielded fruit.”

“Indeed, Imo State is now fully liberated, and we celebrate this milestone under the visionary leadership of Senator Uzodimma, the #PeoplesGovernor of Imo State.”
