Senator Solomon Adeola Facilitates Construction Of 10 Roads

Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Lagos West), the Chairman of Senate Committee of Finance, has facilitated the construction and rehabilitation of 10 critical roads with culverts, drainages and other road infrastructures across his largest and densely populated Lagos West Senatorial District. 

Following discrete visits to some of the projects to ensure the quality of the work done and their completion, Senator Adeola expressed joy at the state of work done on all the 9 roads including construction of drainages and culverts that are now fully completed and in use. 

“I want to state that these interventions on roads in my senatorial district were targeted at alleviating the hardship of my constituents and passers-by in the areas where the construction took place as well as complement the efforts of Lagos State and local governments in the densely populated and urbanized environment of my districts. With so many roads in bad shape, there is need for federal interventions on some local council roads through facilitations” the Senator stated. 

Among the roads already completed are the Oko-Afo-Ilogbo Road, Olorunda, Badagry LGA; Ifelodun/Tanimola Street, Ilasamaja, Oshodi LGA; Muyibi Street, Ajegunle, Ajeromi-Ifelodun LGA; Apata Street, Alfa Nla, Agege LGA; Adebimpe Streeet, Alimosho LGA; Shodipo Street, Olusosun, Off Kudirat Abiola Road Behind Phillips, Ikeja LGA; Ojewere/Shosanya Street, Off Kayode Street, Onipanu, Mushin LGA and Fajumobi Street, Off Ponle Street, Akonwonjo, Alimosho LGA. 


The remaining roads Temidire Road, Mosalasi Bus Stop, Alagbado and Sekoni Way, Lanre Bus Stop, Off LASU, Igando, both in Alimosho LGA are over 90% completed under the 2021 Appropriation with the Senator directing additional efforts to light up the streets all streets with newly constructed roads with street lights. 

The Community Development Associations(CDAs) in the areas where the roads were constructed have been full of praises for the efforts of Senator Adeola with many of them taken to producing and airing jingles of radio station. 


Alhaji Yusuf Bola AbdulQuadri, the Chairman of Adebimpe Street and environs CDA stated that in appreciation of the effective representation of Senator Adeola, the CDA decided to produce a jingle which was aired repeatedly on radio station adding that the legislator would be encouraged by the public acknowledgement of his deed to do more as there are still many deplorable roads in the district.
