Senator Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun Announces Annual Scholarship Programme

The lawmaker representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun, has announced an annual scholarship programme for the indigent.

 

Eshilokun, in a statement, said that with the grant he is committed to providing financial sponsorship to selected indigent undergraduate students across Nigerian institutions from the Lagos Central Senatorial district.

 

“We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Scholarship Programme is now open, and application forms are available for eligible students in 200 level and above from the Lagos Central Senatorial District, studying in any recognised federal or state university or polytechnic in Nigeria.”

 

According to the statement, it provides financial support to deserving students from the Lagos Central Senatorial District. Over the years, this initiative has helped numerous undergraduates across various higher institutions in Nigeria, easing their financial burdens and enabling them to focus on their studies.

 

He noted, “This is to consistently demonstrate commitment to education and youth empowerment through the Yearly Scholarship Programme, which provides financial support to deserving students from the Lagos Central Senatorial District”.

 

Over the years, Senator Eshilokun has initiated several impactful projects in Lagos Central, including infrastructural developments, community empowerment programmes, and youth skill acquisition initiatives.

 

Application Details:

 

• Eligibility: Students in 200 level and above from any federal or state university or polytechnic in Nigeria.
