A 45-year old man, Abu Salako, allegedly caught having sex with a 14-year old girl, has protested before the Police that she enjoyed it and that was why she did raise any alarm during the act until they were caught in Agege, Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Salako, was arrested by Police operatives from Isokoko Division for sleeping with the girl, who was still under aged and defiling her in the process.

The incident happened at Olusanya Street, Agege area of Lagos, where they reside.

During interrogation, Salako admitted that he inserted his dick into her private part but that it was with her consent until they were caught and it was alleged to be a case of rape.

However, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court.

His plea was not taken after the prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O.Osunsanmi, ordered his remand in Correctional Centre at Kirikiri pending the outcome of DPP’s advice.

The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice while Salako will remain in custody pending when the report of the DPP’s advice will be ready.

The matter was adjourned till 10th November, 2020.

The matter will be transferred to the High Court if the DPP’s report finds Salako culpable and recommends his trial for defilement over jurisdiction.
