Snr Comrade Emeni Ibe Commends President Tinubu For Condemning Violence In Rivers & Directing Police To Provide Security To LG Offices

The National President of Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria and President General Orashi National Congress, Snr Comrade Amb Emeni Ibe, has commended His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for calling  on political leaders and their supporters in Rivers State to exercise restraint and uphold the rule of law. 
In response to recent tension following last Saturday’s Local Government Election, the President expressed deep concern over reports of arson and explosions in the state.  He urged all political actors to de-escalate the situation and discourage their supporters from engaging in violence or destructive actions.
President Tinubu also directed the police to restore and maintain peace, law, and order immediately. While instructing law enforcement agencies to bring the situation under control, he emphasised the need to ensure the security of public institutions.
The ONC President General, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, commended Mr. President for his timely response and
and for insisting that government facilities built with public funds must be safeguarded from vandalism. He also extended special commendation to the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for his peaceful disposition.
