Soludo/Ibezim, Others Mobilize For Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu In Nnewi North/Aguata Council Areas

In a show of solidarity and political mobilization, prominent political figures including Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim have rallied support for Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu as he gears up for the upcoming Anambra South Senatorial elections in the state.

The event, held at the Nnewi Triangle and Aguata Local Government Headquarters respectively, saw a large turnout of supporters, community leaders, and well-wishers who came together to endorse Nwachukwu’s candidacy.

Governor Soludo, known for his developmental initiatives and commitment to the region, spoke passionately about the importance of having leaders who are deeply rooted in community values and development.

“Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu embodies the qualities we need in leadership,” Soludo stated. Nnewi South and Ihiala have not produced a Senator in the region before. Ukpor and Nnewi South supported the late Ifeanyi Ubah when he was contesting, it is time to support Nnewi South. Show me support by voting massively for Chief Nwachukwu. The late Ifeanyi Ubah was elected on the platform of YPP- a faction of APGA in 2019. Today, APGA has come back as one united family to reclaim their place”, the Governor emphasized.

 

While stating that Anambra is APGA land, Governor Soludo stressed that in the forthcoming election, the party stands for transparent, open, credible election. He described APGA as a people’s movement, and called on the people to vote and ensure that their votes count.

Speakers at the various locations visited such as Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu, Mayor, Nnewi North, Mr. Echezona Azodo, member representing Nnewi North at the State House of Assembly, Mr. Ikedi Orji, and the State Chairman of APGA, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye, Dr. Chibuike Offorbike, Tony Muobike, Barr. Sylvia Ifemeje, Chief Titus Anagbogu, Engr. Dom Okafor, all echoed the Governor’s sentiments and emphasized the need for unity among the people of Nnewi North and Aguata to ensure a successful campaign.

Chief Nwachukwu, visibly moved by the support, expressed his gratitude to the community and pledged to prioritize the needs of the people when elected.

The event also featured one minute silence in honour of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

As the elections approach, the momentum behind Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu continues to grow, fueled by widespread community support and the backing of influential leaders in the region. With a focus on unity and progress, his campaign aims to inspire hope and instil confidence in the electorate ahead of the crucial local government elections.

The Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim accompanied the Governor to the respective rallies to canvass for support and votes.
