As the new school section commences, many parents are faced with the daunting task of paying school fees for their children.

This financial burden often leads to increased stress levels, with some even developing blood pressure.

The anxiety of meeting payment deadlines, coupled with the pressure to provide quality education, can be overwhelming.

However, this should not be the case, especially in Anambra State where Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration has made significant strides in revolutionizing public education.

The state government’s efforts have transformed public schools into attractive and free institutions, staffed with highly qualified teachers.

This laudable initiative has leveled the playing field, making public schools a viable option for parents seeking quality education for their wards.

The days of viewing public schools as inferior are behind us. Today, public schools boast state-of-the-art facilities, well-trained educators, and a conducive learning environment.

It is astonishing that some parents still opt for private schools, some of them “kwashiorkor schools” due to their subpar standards.

These private institutions often prioritize profits over pedagogy, leaving students with a suboptimal learning experience.

The misconception that private schools are inherently better than public schools is a product of ignorance.

A thorough analysis of public exam results reveals that public schools consistently outperform their private counterparts.

We urge parents to take advantage of this golden opportunity and enroll their children in public schools.

By doing so, they will not only alleviate their financial burdens but also provide their wards with access to quality education.

The Anambra State Government’s commitment to free education is a testament to its dedication to the well-being and future of its citizens.

Furthermore, this initiative has the potential to bridge the educational gap between the rich and the poor.

Every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves access to quality education. By embracing public schools, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society.

Let us embrace this initiative and give our children the gift of knowledge, free from the shackles of exorbitant school fees. Together, we can build a brighter future for generations to come.
