Sports-Trek Foundation Africa Hails Amokachi’s Appointment As SA On Sports To Buhari

Sports-Trek Foundation Africa (STFA), a non profit organization which empowers young people through sports and academics, has congratulated former Super Eagles player, Daniel Amokachi, on his recent appointment as Special Assistant on Sports to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Sports-Trek Foundation, which is preparing for the second edition of its annual sports camp in Lagos tagged “Lagos Invasion” post Covid-19 restrictions, after an epoch first edition in Delta state in 2019, described Amokachi’s vast experience in sports management and pragmatic human development as one that would propel the youths for greater success in sports.

Humanitarian businessman and Chairman STFA’s, Mr. Tabuko Emanuel, in a statement in Abuja, describes Daniel Amokachi as an ideal role model to young people given his service to Nigeria as an exe international and former coach of the Super Eagles, coupled with the benevolent activities of the ‘Daniel Amokachi Foundation’ in communities across the country over the years.

Tabuko added that Amokachi’s, appointment as SA on Sports to President Buhari, will further encourage several young people to see sports as a career part to opulence.

Daniel Amokachi’s appointment, which took effect from August 11, was announced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, last week.
