Super Eagles Legends Battle Ikeduru All Stars 29 December

The Executive Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinnma and his Abia State counterpart, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, will be the Special Guests of Honour when Super Eagles legendary players battle against Ikeduru All Stars Football Club, at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu Stadium, Iho in Ikeduru Local Government Area, Imo state.

According to the General Coordinator and Facilitator of the special event, tagged ‘Mother of All Football Tournament, East of the Niger’, Ambassador Uche Ogbuagu, the kick off of the game has been fixed for 2pm.

The top Super Eagles legends expected to play in the Ikeduru Soccer Fiesta 2020 which is in line with the youth empowerment and sports programme reeled by Ambassador Uche Ogbeagu, include former African Footballer of the Year, Victor Ikpeba, Augustine Eguavoen, Waidi Akanni, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Tijani Babaginda, Daniel Amokachi, Alloy Agu, Mobi Oparaku, Uche Okechukwu, Obinna Nwanneri and Ifeanyi Udeze among others.

The event’s facilitator, Ambassador Uche Ogbuagu, who is the Majority Leader and Ikeduru representative in the Imo State House of Assembly, Owerri, added that, the proprietor of Ifeanyi Uba Football Club, Chief Ifeanyi Uba, is also a special guest of honour who has confirmed his presence at the December 29 event, while noting that, the event is aimed at encouraging Ikeduru born soccer talents discovered to play in the bigger scene in international clubs football.
