Super Eagles vs Sierra Leone Live On GOtv

The road to AFCON 2023 begins today, June 9, 2022, as Nigerian Super Eagles kick off their campaign to qualify for a 19th appearance at the African Cup of Nations. 

SuperSport viewers on GOtv can look forward to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) action between the ‘Super Eagles’ of Nigeria and the ‘Leone Stars’ of Sierra Leone set to hold today.

The Eagles have all to play for against their West African neighbours at the National Stadium in Abuja when the match goes live on SuperSport Select 2, GOtv Channel 34 by 5:00pm.

They have gone five games without a win and missed out on a spot at the FIFA World Cup tournament holding later this year in Qatar.

Jose Peseiro’s men lost their last two encounters against Ecuador and Mexico, they will be hoping to rebound and get their qualification campaign started on a good note.

History favours Nigerians, they have faced Sierra Leone on 16 occasions. They have won 9, lost 2 and drawn 5.

In the other qualification game of the group, Guinea-Bissau will take on São Tomé and Principle.
