Suspected Cult Leader, Kamoru Ofin Killed During Cult Clash In Ogun Community

A suspected cult leader in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, Kamoru Ofin, has been killed during a clash between rival cult groups. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspected cult group also reportedly cut off the two hands of the deceased, Ofin and took them away as a symbol of cult killing.
The victim, Kamoru Ofin and an unidentified member of his gang were reportedly killed during gun duel between the two gangs in the Abatiwa area of  Agbowa, Odogbolu area of Ogun State.
This was confirmed by Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Frank Mba, who stated that some suspected cultists have been arrested in connection with the clash between the cult groups.
It was gathered that Ofin, who had been linked with cult clashes and killings in Iraye and other parts of Ikorodu, alongside some of his members including Lateef Eleda, Yinka ,Kazeem Idiagbon Elesude, Elekunmefa all gathered in the village when the clash started.
A resident, who pleaded anonymity while speaking with our correspondent, said, “Nobody can really say what happened but there was an exchange of gun fire between the two gangs”.
“Ofin and his gang had been at Agbotiwa for some days before the other gang came on motorcycles and engaged them in a bloody fight.”
The resident further stated that “Prior to the exchange of gunfire between them, some of he villagers had observed strange movements in the village”.
“Since Kamoru Ofin and his gang had been in the village before then, they thought that they were part of them” the resident stated.
He continued, “It was around 8 “O clock at night that we started hearing gunshots. Nobody could come out. There was tension in the village”.
“It was the following day that we heard that one Kamoru Ofin and one other person were killed during the clash.”
 The resident also said, “Kamoru Ofin must be a very strong person as his people could not believe that he would be killed”.
“They said that they cut off his two hands and took them away to show his gang that they had killed one of their leaders.”
