Team Lagos Ride Over Edo To Finals In Volleyball And Handball

Lagos officials celebrate the fall of Edo state in the semi final of handball Saturday morning


Team Lagos showed their supremacy over the host state, Edo in the ball games Saturday morning at the ongoing Edo 2020 National Sports Festival holding in Benin City.


Notwithstanding the home support, Team Edo could not contain the dominance of Lagos handball and volleyball teams as the state was stopped on its way to the finals.


P.M. EXPRESS reports that Team Lagos volleyball squad (female)  defeated Edo Babes 3 -1  to qualify for the final which will be played  on Monday.


In handball, Team Lagos were too much for the host team, as they overpowered them in a game that ended 38 to 24. This victory qualified Lagos for the final of handball.


As at the time of filling this report,ore games are ongoing across centers in the ancient city of Benin with high optimism in Team Lagos camp of more victories.
