Techo Consult Nigeria Limited’s Partnership Agreement Terminated By Anambra State Govt

Anambra State Government has terminated the partnership agreement with Techo Consult Nigeria Limited on daily IGR collection while debunking move to collect daily taxes from commercial POS operators in the State. 
Techo Consult Nigeria Limited had entered a partnership agreement with the State Government, where it was stressed that IGR collections should be done using POS terminals or USSD support channels. But the company renegaded in all the stipulated terms and resorted to manual collection into their own private bank account.
Irked by the grievous infractions and with zero tolerance for corruption, the State Government, in a letter to the company signed by Mr. Ben Okafor (Executive Secretary, Anambra State Inland Revenue Service), terminated the partnership and stopped the company from being part of the daily IGR collection from commercial POS operators since it failed to follow the rules of having remittances made real time using each operator’s ASIN.
