Tennis Superstar, Serena Williams Is 20 Weeks Pregnant

American Tennis superstar Serena Williams has announced that she is expecting her first child.

Serena posted a snapshot photo of herself in a yellow swimsuit taken from an angle revealing what appears to be a large baby bump with the caption ‘20 weeks’ on Wednesday.

The post was later deleted.

Serena, 35, announced she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in December.

They got engaged after he popped the question in Rome, at the restaurant where they first met.

Serena and the techie began dating in October 2015 and did not discuss their relationship publicly until the engagement was announced.

The announcement left the sport’s chattering class wondering to what degree she was looking ahead to life after tennis.

She answered that speculation with brio at the Australian Open, capturing her 23rd major singles title without dropping a set to eclipse Steffi Graf’s record for grand slam titles in the Open era and regain the No 1 ranking she had ceded in the fall to Germany’s Angelique Kerber.

But she’s been inactive since her victory over elder sister Venus in the final at the Australian Open in Melbourne Park in January.

Last month, Williams pulled out of Indian Wells and Miami, citing a left knee injury.

That allowed Kerber to retake the top ranking.

Williams is ranked number two in the world.

She won the Australian Open in January and has not played since beating her sister Venus in the Melbourne final.
