Testimonies As Medical Team Arrives Dunukofia Communities On Day 5 Of Ekwunife’s Free Medical Outreach

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife PhD, has continued to show strong commitment towards addressing the challenges of her constituents. On Monday, December 27, 2021, an experienced medical team arrived in some communities in Dunukofia LGA to attend to constituents.

The team of doctors and health practitioners have been visiting communities across the 7 local governments of the Senatorial District for the past week and have been charged by the federal lawmaker to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that Ndi Anambra Central receive the best medical attention within the scope of the programme.

The Senator Uche Ekwunife medical outreach is one of the Senator’s annual yuletide gifts to constituents. This year’s edition, is focused on treating patients on ailments such as malaria, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, STDS, obesity, Helminths infections, health education advisory amongst others and has so far recorded massive turnout and treatment successes.

Speaking shortly after receiving medical attention, one of the beneficiaries from Umudioka community, Chief Okechukwu Nnakee described the programme as timely. He said that Ekwunife has remained unrelenting in offering her constituents purposeful representation, adding that the lawmaker should be encouraged as she strives to better the lives of her constituents.

In her remarks, Mrs. Josephine Okongwu who was attended to at the centre in Eze Ukpo palace, Ukpo described the programme as far-reaching. She extolled Senator Ekwunife for constantly offering the people life-changing representation.

The medical team is expected to visit several other communities in the coming days as the programme targets more beneficiaries.
