The North And The Game Of Wits; The APC Example

It’s not in doubt that politics is a concentric circle of endless conspiracies and whoever draws the last curtain of conspiracy wins.

However, the Northern APC bigwigs are gradually establishing a new political dimension to undermine the concentric nature and theories involved in political conspiracies.
What has played out since the last 48 hours within the APC highest ranks could only be attributed to a mixed political gameplay by the North with a few Southern elements in the APC providing clandestine support.
How can the National Chairman of APC who was handpicked by the President announce a consensus candidate for the party inside the Presidential Villa without the tacit support of the same President that singlehandedly picked him? That is impossible.
How come the Progressive Governors, all of a sudden started pushing for a Southern candidate? Are you people putting 1+1 together with me? Something does not add up here. The APC Governors are also playing a script which did not go down well with the likes of Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello etc. That was why he boycotted all the meetings called by the APC Governors where the ball was set rolling.

Why did they mandate the National Organising Secretary of the party to speak for the NWC instead of the Publicity Secretary, whose press conference as the official mouthpiece of the party would have been seen as a more credible response to the position of NWC on the subject matter?

From all indications, this whole drama was part of the script written and assigned to different characters to execute. The National Chairman was meant to fire the salvo, then the Governors to hit back, NWC to paint a fake picture, the President feigns blatant ignorance, then a few Southern pawns to ensue for peace and dramatically voicing out support for Ahmad Lawan.

As this will be going on, most APC delegates would have become stranded and perhaps run out of patience. Then Ahmad Lawan and his group would swing into action through fence mending tactics, building alliances and doling out cash to as many delegates as possible in preparation for a voice vote to accomplish and seal up the consensus deal when the Special Convention reconvenes.

I can authoritatively affirm here that the drama of opposing the National Chairman’s decision to announce Ahmad Lawan as the consensus candidate was planned and hatched by the President, the NWC, the Progressive Governors and a few Southern leaders.
We cannot be deceived by these treacherous leaders who think that Nigerians are dumb and can be fooled at all times.
Now that the two major political parties have selected their Presidential candidates, the South must reasonably conspire also to alter the status quo through the same concentric conspiracy formula.

The devil has always been a liar.
