The Triumphant Entry Of Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba Back To Anambra

Rays of hope were rekindled in the hearts of Anambrarians with the arrival of Senator Andy Uba (Igwebuike) into Anambra days after the symbolic handover of the APC flag and endorsement of President Muhammadu Buhari. Senator Andy Uba, who is the governorship flagbearer of the APC in Anambra State, was welcomed on arrival to Awka by a mammoth crowd of supporters and ordinary Anambrarians, who are disgruntled with the inept leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra State. This multitude of hopeful Anambrarians sang with gusto as they ushered in a man they hope will transform Anambra into a model state of excellence starting from March 2022.

Yet to recover from the overwhelming feeling of love and expectations displayed by the people in Awka, Senator Andy Uba was again hosted to a grand reception by his kinsmen under the aegis of the Old Aguata Union. The reception, which took place at the Ekwulobia Township Stadium, was a massive show of support and endorsement by the people of Old Aguata to their illustrious son, Senator Andy Uba, MFR.

While addressing the mammoth crowd that gathered for the event, the indefatigable Director-General of the Andy Uba Campaign Council, Chief Sir Paul Chukwuma, declared that the APC and its candidate are set to commence an engaging campaign to every part of the state in order to sell the party’s manifesto to the electorates. 

Sir Paul Chukwuma berated the ruling party in the state, APGA, for accusing APC of planning to rig the governorship election stating that it defies logic to accuse APC of such because the party has lost elections in the past in some parts of the country and even in Anambra state notwithstanding the fact that it controlled the center, which is a testament to the Democratic ideals held dearly by the APC. According to him, when APC loses elections, the party normally goes back to the drawing to learn from the defeat. He therefore, charged Ndi Anambra to discountenance APGA’s rigging allegations as cheap propaganda by a drowning party.

While reeling out the sterling administrative qualities of Senator Andy Uba, Sir Paul Chukwuma stated that Senator Uba is a tested administrator, who will hit the ground running immediately he’s elected unlike others that may waste their four-year term getting used to the complex intricacies of governing a dynamic state like Anambra.

He also outlined the numerous achievements of the APC-led federal government especially on infrastructure and enjoined Ndi Anambra to vote massively for Senator Andy Uba to replicate such infrastructural renaissance in Anambra State.
