The “Yes Boys” In Power

Posted on June 18, 2022

In my book, The Games of Leadership, I made it clear, that the insatiability and craze for perpetuity of many leaders, has spelt so much of colossal doom on the socioeconomic prosperity of the people. These leaders take full advantage of the ignorance of the unschooled majority, suppress the workers and frustrate the enlightened. They dare to remain in power even when they are out of power.

In order for them to keep keeping themselves in perpetual relevance in the polity, they install proxy leaders to take over the office, who would keep the windows open, for them to penetrate and perpetrate their political maneuvers. They rule the people through those figureheads, commanding them like puppets and zombies, which they truly are.

They institute themselves as Political Commanders, steering the ship of the state from their remote stations. They deceive the people by physically staying away, pretending not to have anything doing in the government house. Yet, the hands behind the policies and projects, with the consequent problems, remain the hands of The Boss but the voice and the face are that of the Boy, the “Yes Boy”.

That is your leader, “The Yes Boy”, who is bound to serve the interest of his Boss. While those who were too blind to see it coming, begin to cry foul, those who already saw the handwriting on the wall will just be watching the stupidity of a people.
