Award-winning creative director and designer James Abinibi has released a teaser trailer to his much talked about upcoming comedy drama ‘Mentally’.

The movie stars an ensemble cast, including internet comedy sensation Frank Donga, on-air personality Yaw, actress Toyin Aimakhu, singer Adekunle Gold, comedian Woli Arole, Kunle Afod, Salami Rotimi, Big Brother Naija’s Somadina Anyama and a host of others.

The short trailer gives viewers a sneak peek into the comic plot of the movie; showing a series of intriguing scenes – the opening scene shows Frank Donga with seemingly bloodshot eyes, before the camera reveals he is in fact tied upside down with his leg caught in a booby trap.

Toyin Aimakhu is seen in different scenes donning what appears to be traditional attire whilst dancing then (in another scene) writhing erratically.

Several other characters are shown in various scenes – with majority draped in presumably leather skin; connoting a traditional and cultural setting.

The fast-paced trailer reveals element of thriller, mystery and adventure – ultimately making the upcoming movie a must-see.

Inside sources reveal the movie is scheduled to premiere towards the end of 3rd quarter in 2017.

‘Mentally’ is a follow-up to Abinibi’s 2016 short film ‘Honourable’, starring top actor Yomi Fash-Lanso, Erick Didie, Tunde Owokoniran and other talented Nollywood stars.
