The trial of a couple, Obinna Arthur and his wife, Chinenye who allegedly raped, recorded friend’s wife at a popular hotel in Egbeda, Lagos and later posted it on social media over a N1.2million debt was stalled on Wednesday.

This was occassioned by the unavailability of the report of the Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP advice on the matter as directed by the court.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr Akeem Fashola has ordered the couple to be remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to send the file to DPP for advice.
