Two Teenage Boys Arrested Over Gang Rape Of Girl, 14 & Recording Action

Police operatives from Isheri Oshun Division of the Lagos State Command have arrested two boys, Emmanuel Obi, 17 and Chosen Uwanchukwu, 17, for allegedly gang-raping a 14-year old girl and recording the action on phone for friends to watch. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 5th May, 2024, at Ademola Ashiru Street, Isheri Oshun area of Alimosho Local Government, Lagos State.
The suspects were said to have committed the dastardly act, recorded their action after the victim visited her female classmate, and the brother of her classmate. They locked her inside their room and forcefully engaged her in sex romp.
While one of them was raping her, the other was recording the action as they took turns to rape her before they allowed her to go having satisfied themselves. All the while, the suspects locked their door, her classmate she visited pretended as if nothing happened only to mock her later in school.
The matter was reported to the human rights group, known as AMPEF, which moved into action and reported to the Police.. The suspects were then arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over their alleged conduct.
After interrogation, the Police found them culpable for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment and transferred the matter to the Gender Section of the Command for further investigation.
When our correspondent visited Isheri Oshun Police Division, the DPO was not in the office to comment on the matter as one of the Police officers said he went on routine monitoring in the area.
However, Police sources at the station told our reporter that the matter has been transferred to the Gender Section for further investigation.
