UBA Top Boss, Bola Atta Supports Asisat Oshoala’s Football4girls Tournament

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the UBA Foundation, an arm of the UBA Group, is once again giving its support to the most decorated African woman footballer, Nigerian Asisat Oshoala, as her pet project, the Asisat Oshoala Foundation gets set to host the 2021 edition of Football4girls Tournament in Lagos.
P.M. EXPRESS understands that the CEO of the UBA Foundation, Bola Atta, is supporting the Football4girls event, which is scheduled to hold at the Onikan Stadium on Lagos Island in December. Atta has been one of the pillars of supports to Oshoala, the captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons in her bid to give a future to the girl child in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
The UBA Foundation’s CSR is committed to the betterment of Nigerians, and the Foundation is giving its support to Asisat Oshoala Foundation which it believes is committed to helping young girls in Africa.
The 2021 edition, which will be the sixth edition will feature 16 teams in Nigeria. They will battle for cash prizes, while the Most Valuable Player (MVP) will head to Barcelona Academy.
This year’s event will also feature mentorship sessions for the girls, including a medical health day for the girl-child.
The Football4girls is one of the many projects from the Asisat Oshoala Foundation, including the Football4hope, Inspire Girls Africa, Back to School project, Food project, and some key donations to schools and communities.
