As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and fostering social cohesion, United Nigeria Airlines, a leading domestic carrier in Nigeria, rewarded four winners with complimentary return tickets at the 2025 Rotary Sports Festival (ROSFEST’25) held in Lagos State.

Organized by Rotary District 9112, ROSFEST’25 aimed to promote charity, teamwork, and physical fitness among Rotarians. As the official airline sponsor, United Nigeria Airlines reaffirmed its dedication to uniting people, families, businesses, and communities through air travel.

Demonstrating this commitment, the airline presented four lucky winners with return flight tickets. The recipients included Adeola Banjoko and Hakeem Amao, who emerged as the best female and male golfers, respectively. Additionally, Halima Oluwakemi Olusesi and Rebecca Omokaro Isoke won their tickets through a raffle draw held during the Awards Dinner and Raffle Night.

During the event, United Nigeria Airlines was also honoured with an Award of Excellence in recognition of its continued impact in the aviation industry. The award highlighted the airline’s role in enhancing connectivity, customer satisfaction, and service innovation within Nigeria’s air travel sector.

Speaking on behalf of United Nigeria Airlines, Mr. Raphael Uchegbu, Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted that the airline’s partnership with ROSFEST’25 reflects its broader mission of uniting dreams, cultures, and people. He commended Rotary District 9112 for its contributions to sports and charity, emphasizing that United Nigeria Airlines remains committed to supporting sports and social initiatives across Nigeria.

“Our sponsorship of ROSFEST’25 aligns with our vision of using aviation as a tool for unity and national development. As we continue to expand our impact, we remain dedicated to fostering social engagement through corporate social responsibility initiatives,” Uchegbu stated.

He further noted that the winners of the return tickets will enjoy additional benefits, including a one-year ticket validity, offering them greater flexibility in planning their trips across the airline’s domestic network.

United Nigeria Airlines, which recently added the Lagos–Abuja–Katsina route to its network, also renewed its sponsorship deal with Nigerian Premier League giants, Enyimba FC. Through partnerships like these, the airline continues to uphold its commitment to uniting and inspiring Nigerians through aviation and social engagement, in line with its motto: Flying to Unite.
