Governor Hope Uzodimma has held a productive meeting with Mr. Ndiame Diop, Country Director of the World Bank, to discuss a potential collaboration aimed at bolstering water supply services in Imo State.
The focus of the meeting centered around the Sustainable Urban and Rural Water Supply, Sanitation, and Hygiene (SURWASH) Program, a comprehensive initiative designed to improve water access across communities.
Significant progress has already been made in modernizing water supply systems throughout in Imo State.The priority now lies in ensuring consistent service delivery that meets both accessibility and hygiene standards.
This strategic partnership aims to leverage the World Bank’s vast expertise and financial resources to equip Imo citizens with safe and clean water for a healthy and thriving living.
